The Internet is a popular platform for nutrition information, with seventy percent of Canadians turning to online sources for health-related information. Not all information on the internet is valid especially about health. Four factsheets containing web links for reliable nutrition information have been developed by the Alberta Nutrition Advisory Team. Each fact sheet contains web links for resources on its specific topic. The topics are Nutrition (general), Prenatal Nutrition, Breastfeeding, and Infant Nutrition. Please join the Alberta Nutrition Advisory team for an information session on how these resources will help you find accurate nutrition information in your practice.
